Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. Compliant with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Our Commitment: Student-Built Privacy First
Reach was built by an independent university student to provide students, campus leaders, churches, and community organizers with a fair, accessible messaging tool. Your phone number lists belong entirely to you. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your audience contacts with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
1. What Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate your outreach account:
- Account Information: Your email address and full name or brand alias when you register.
- Audience Contacts: Names and Ghanaian phone numbers you manually enter or upload via CSV/Excel to your address book.
- Regulatory Sender ID Documentation: When submitting an official Letter of Authorization, we store the uploaded LOA document and identity proof (Ghana Card or Business Certificate) strictly to submit to telecommunication network operators for Sender ID whitelisting.
- Dispatch Records: Timestamps, message text fragments, recipient phone numbers, and delivery status logs returned by telecom gateways.
2. Customer Contact Lists & Security
Your uploaded contact lists are encrypted and stored in PostgreSQL database tables protected with Row-Level Security (RLS). Only your authenticated session can view or manage your contacts. We will never use your contact lists to send unsolicited messages on behalf of other organizations or third parties.
3. Payment Information
All Mobile Money transactions and card payments are handled directly by Paystack, a certified PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Reach never sees, processes, or stores your Mobile Money PINs, OTPs, or debit card CVVs.
4. Your Rights Under Ghana Act 843
Under the Data Protection Act of Ghana, you maintain full control of your data. You may delete individual contacts, purge entire address books, or request complete account deletion at any time directly through your dashboard or by emailing the developer.
